Seó Samhna Review

Newspaper review: Seó Samhna. 26/10/12

Last night the pupils of Gaelscoil Riabhach performed their superb yearly “Seó Samhna” at a buzzing Temperance Hall in Loughrea. All the classes took part in a variety of well choreographed acts which included song, poetry, dance and drama. The children had been practicing for weeks and their hard work really paid off.

One of the highlights of the night was 5^th and 6^th class’s exhilarating performance in Irish of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, complete with Zombie dance! Another highlight was “Cinnín Ór agus na Trí Bhéar” where Cinnín Ór stole the show in a great group performance which included Superman! All the classes did really well and the children thoroughly enjoyed the show.

You could tell from the clapping and cheering that the audience were blown away by the splendid performances. Everybody is already looking forward to next year’s show!
