- Constance’s birth name was Constance Georgina Gore-Booth.
- Constance was born on 4th February 1868 at Buckingham Gate in London.
- She was an Irish Sinn Féin and Fianna Fáil politician.
- Constance is famous because she was the first woman in politics elected to the British House of Commons. However she didn’t take her seat.
- She also fought in the 1916 Rising with the Irish Citizen Army.
- Constance died on the 15th of July 1927 aged 59.
