It’s not the end of the world!

Last week we read a poem by Michael Rosen called “The End of The World”. We had to write a poem based on that for homework.  Here is mine.

            Sometimes it looks as if it could be the end of  the world.

Global Warming

Pollution

Freak Weather

Running out of oil

 They are always saying

“It’s the recession, we’re all going to die!”

or

“Global Warming will kill us all in 5 billion years!

Be ready!”

I say “It’s not the end of the world you know”.

 They think it is.
